Nearly 30 years later, the duo builds more docks than all other builders combined, with a team of course now. Free State Boat Docks consistently gives back to the Lewis Smith Lake and surrounding communities through many charities and sponsorships. In addition, Free State Boat Docks consistently receives accolades for “Readers Choice” in local publications naming them “The Best Dock Builder” on Smith Lake.
